Ezell Demoss

Ezell DeMoss, age 94, of Dayton, passed away December 9, 2021. She was born February 22, 1927 in Clay County, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis DeMoss; and 5 brothers and sisters.

Ezell is survived by her children: Nelson DeMoss (Diana), Keyna Powell (Steve) and Lewis F. DeMoss (Patti); 6 grandchildren: Nelson (Missi), Brian (Suzy), Michael, Nathan, Shawn and Ashley; many great-grandchildren, including: Shelby, Kylee, Jake, Alanna, Skylar, Brinlee and Gavin; several great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ledford Bowling; sister, Nora Davidson (Clinton); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ezell was a beautician and had her own shop for over 50 years. She was the best grandmother a kid could ever have. She loved spending time with her family and always enjoyed a great prank.

Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 am on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 11:30 am. Burial to follow at Dayton National Cemetery at 1:00 pm. Contributions may be made in Ezell's memory to Crossroads Hospice.
