Mark Moorehead, age 87, of Dayton, passed away November 8, 2021. He was born May 31, 1934. Mark was preceded in death by his mom, Treva Jenkins; brother, Lynn Moorehead; and step-son, Wendell Scott Stamper.
Mark is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ivetta Moorehead; sister, Maxine Lowers (Neal); daughter, Sherry Lakes; grandchildren: Owen Lakes, Kendra McIntyre, Cory Rodeffer and Amber Rodeffer; great-grandchildren: Logan McIntyre and Averie Rodeffer; daughter, Michelle Bravard; grandchildren: Sierra Stamper, Rachel Heindl (Mike), Brooke Bravard, Shelby Bravard (Mike) and Wade Stamper (Autumn); great-grandchildren: Layla Heindl, Zoe Heindl, Arya Kinder and Timothy Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mark was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, antique cars and fishing with his brother. More than anything, Mark loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm.
