Brenda Sue Adkins, age 79, of Fairborn, passed away on October 11, 2021. Brenda was born on August 23, 1942 in Maryville, Tennessee to the late Burder and Mollie Anderson.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, George Adkins; her son, Johnny Adkins; sisters, Beulah Reinhammer and Peggy Anderson; and brother, Daniel Anderson.
Her memory will be cherished by her loving sons: Rondal (Candis) Adkins, Kenneth (Dorothy) Adkins, Russell (Amber) Adkins, and George (Leigh) Adkins; 21 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and many more siblings, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Brenda was a very loving and generous soul. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and she was a wonderful cook. Her meals brought the family together. She enjoyed attending Blue Grass festivals with her friends, and she loved traveling to new places. She never met a stranger. She greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where her funeral service will begin at 1:30pm, officiated by Matt McFarland. A burial will follow at Byron Cemetery.
