Ronald "Ron" Alan Moser, age 75 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 5, 2021. He was born December 24, 1945 in El Paso, Texas son of the late Ernest and Ruth Moser.
Ron was a devoted husband, loving father, amazing grandfather, great grandfather (Poppy), brother, uncle, and friend. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. After the Military, he retired from the VA Medical Center after 30 plus years. Ron and Pam were members of the Community United Methodist Church where Ron was a volunteer and mentor for the Whiz Kid Program. He enjoyed traveling, camping, flying, and spending time with his family. Ron will be greatly missed by all and never forgotten.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Ruth Moser.
Ron is survived by his wife of 56 years, Pam Moser; children, Shawn ( Elly) Moser and Wendy (Shane) Magill; grandchildren, Becca (Trevor) Moser, Zach Moser, Maya Magill, William, Jakoby, and Bryce; great grandchildren, Clayton and Samuel Brumfield; siblings, Marlene (Jim) Lehman, Bob (Terry) Moser, and Chad (Wayne) Moser; several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 10-11am at Community United Methodist Church (339 Meyer Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45431). Funeral Service to begin at 11am with Pastor Fritz Merkes officiating. Burial to follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to the Whiz Kid Program at Community United Methodist Church.
