Raymond O. Brown

Raymond O. Brown, age 74, passed away on September 16, 2021. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on January 26, 1947, the son of the late William R. Brown and Mary Brown-Green.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Martha Karns.

Ray is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Letty Brown; children, Robin (Todd) Allen and Mark (Angela) Brown; 3 grandchildren, Sierra (Brent) Stamper, Rachel (Mike) Heindl and Wade (Autumn) Stamper; 3 great grandchildren, Layla, Zoe and Timothy.

He served his country proudly by serving during the Vietnam War in the United States Army (1st Infantry Division). Ray retired from Flowserve and Vandalia Butler Schools.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am, with Rev. Steve Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
