David Lee Paul

David Lee Paul, age 76, of Dayton, passed away on August 30, 2021. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on July 28, 1945, the son of the late Roy Paul and Sally Paul.

He was preceded in death by his father; his beloved wife of 43 years, Lissie Paul; daughter, Debbie; and his granddaughter, Ashley.

David is survived by his loving children, Rita, Wanda (Jimmy), David (Carrie), Lance, Kim (Scott) and Sierra (Dustin); his wife, Wilma Paul (and her family); his mother, Sally Paul; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren; siblings, Gary (Judy), Shirley, Gloria (Lance) and Jeff (Diane); and also survived by many other loving family and friends.

He served his country proudly by serving in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. David retired from CCX, where he was a Truck Driver for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards, watching the Browns and OSU. His time spent with his family meant the world to him and he will be dearly missed by everyone.

Visitation will be held from 6pm-8pm, on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens.
