On Sunday, July 18, 2021, Matthew Steven Stamper passed away at the age of 43. Matt was born on January 26th during the Great Blizzard of 1978 in Dayton, OH to Darlene and Ralph Alsup.
Matt was such a nice and caring person. He was an avid music lover and had an appreciation for vinyls. He had a passion for photography. He saw the world through a different colored lense than most.
Matt was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Alsup; maternal grandparents, Howard & Virginia Stamper; fraternal grandmother Carolyn "Nancy" Hill; Sister, Megan Lynn Alsup, longtime friend, Dustin Thomas Winkler.
He is survived by his mother, Darlene Alsup; siblings, Renee Alsup and Ashley Jorgenson; half-sister, Bobbi Christman; nieces, Addison and Layla; nephews, Nathan, Layne, Aiden, Devin and Leland; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 6:00 pm. To share a memory of Matt or leave a special message for his family, please visit the guestbook below.
