John B. Moore, age 93, of West Carrollton, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
John was born in Booneville, KY on February 14, 1928 to the late Jordan & Nellie (Montgomery) Moore.
In addition to John's parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Moore; son, Kevin Moore; brothers, Junior Moore and Elijah Moore; and sister, Louise Moore.
John proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He retired from the Penn Central/Conrail Railroad.
John is survived by his son, Darin Moore and his wife, Keren Ortiz Moore; sister, Maxine Brundige; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 10-11 am at the Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering, Blvd. Kettering, OH 45439. The service will follow at 11am. John will be laid to rest next to his wife, Doris at Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton, OH.
