Bob Eugene Clark was born in South Bend, Indiana to Alice Grace (Goltry) Clark and Stafford Dean Clark on January 18, 1941. He was the forth child of seven children to be born to the union of his mother and father. His Christian name was Bobby Eugene Clark. His friends and family called him Bob or Robert.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Boyd and Daisy Goltry, and his paternal grandparents Emmet and Emma Clark. He was also preceded in death by his eldest sister, Phyllis Joan Platz on October 25, 2018 and his second eldest sister, Nancy Lee Clark on November 19, 2019.
Bob leaves behind his precious wife, Debbie Clark; sister, Lucy Mutchler of Mishawaka, Indiana; brother, Bill Moller of West Milton, Ohio; sister, Sherry Thacker of Elkhart, Indiana; his youngest sister, Sandy Noonan of Yorba Linda, California; and special caregiver, Jenny Butcher.
A change was seen in Bob when he introduced his family to Debbie Knott - it was obvious that Bob and Debbie had found love. They were joined together as man and wife on December 7, 1992. Bob's brother, Bill was asked to be the best man at his wedding, but due to miscommunications, Bill went to the church after it had passed. Bob and Debbie moved into their own place of living quarters out of any nursing home. Bob had a job working as an office cleaner for Wright Patterson Air Force Base. There he worked until his retirement but continued to be serviced by social services. The days that Bob and Debbie were together were the happiest times of his life. Then Bob had a heart attack and received bypass surgery. From this time forward Bob started the road of his decline; eventually being diagnosed with dementia. His mind time frame settled into the years of 1946 to 1950 when his family was all together in Osceola, Indiana. Bob lived his later years in nursing homes under the care of a wonderful caregiver by the name of Jenny. A special thank you goes out to all the caregivers and especially to his POA, Jenny Butcher, who kept Bob and Debbie under her care and made sure things were done right.
Bob is now at peace in the Lord's care. He is sleeping and waiting for the trumpet to sound when Christ will call the dead who believe in Him to rise. Bob was a true believer in the Lord even with dementia, he would recall songs from his memory. So, Bob rest in peace and in time your family will all be joined together in the Heaven of God.
