William "Bill" Sheets

William "Bill" Sheets, age 75, of Carlise, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021.
Bill was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 20, 1945 to the late Harry & Laura (Stuck) Sheets.
Bill was a key player on his H.S. Football team, and also played minor league football. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Bill had a passion for sports. His work with Croswell Tours allowed him to travel around the country to see many sports teams. In his later years Bill was a part of a softball, bowling and volleyball league. He was very handy and loved his tools.
Bill is preceded in death by his brother, Harry Junior Sheets.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Tennia Denning; beloved dog, Maggie; children, William Carl Sheets, Jr., Mark Joseph Sheets and Lori Montgomery, Steven (Pam) Denning, Cory (Brittany) Denning, Chad Denning; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Barb Back.
A celebration of life with military honors will take place for friends and family on Saturday, June 26, 2021, 4:00 pm at Huffman Metro Park, Overlook Entrance, Shelter Redtail, 4439 Lower Valley Pike, Dayton, Ohio, 45424. https://www.metroparks.org/places-to-go/huffman/
Those attending may want to bring chairs and beverages as water will be provided. Please wear casual attire.
