It is with deepest sadness that the family of Shannon Ruth McNamara-Hoskins announces her passing on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the age of 41.
Shannon will be fondly remembered by many as a vibrant, loving and nurturing soul, as a mother, a daughter, a nurse, a wife and a very dear friend.
Shannon loved the beach and sunny days. She enjoyed all types of music and would dance whenever she could. She always loved a good party and festival. She lived her life with curiosity and passion to explore new things. Most of all, she loved people and it showed.
She is survived by her parents, Tom and Jan, along with her husband, Rodney; her children, Ashton, Alyssa, Lyndsey, Gracey, Tessa, Izabella, Connor, Zackary and Mason; grandchildren, Peggy, Joey and Lilah. Besides her family, there are countless friends, cousins and acquaintances who will miss her zest for life, and her quick wit and humor.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 10 am - 11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439). A Memorial Service will begin at 11 am.
