William E. Wilson

William E. "Bill" Wilson, age 60, of Medway, passed away May 28, 2021. He was born April 5, 1961 in Amherst, Ohio to the late Homer and Florence Wilson. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Morris; and brother, Charles David Morris.

Bill is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sherry Wilson; children: Clinton Buffington, Sasha Barton, Amber Wilson and Nicole Wilson; 5 grandchildren: Kaitlyn Shirk, Jayden Stamm, Alyssa Weber, Emilee Weber and Aubree Boswell; sisters: Carol Morris, Sandy Graibus, Vickie Ritz, Teresa Provenza and Susanna Newell; brother, Roy Barnie; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bill was a 12 year veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a truck driver for more than 30 years; was a member of the American Legion; life member of National Hunter's Association and the N.R.A.; and was a Black Belt martial artist in more than 5 styles.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third Street. A funeral procession will form at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road at 9:45 am, leaving promptly at 10:00 am. A Celebration of Life Service will follow the graveside service at Tipp City Roundhouse, 35 Parkwood Drive, Tipp City, Ohio 45371.
