Edward F. Dalton, age 68, of Kettering, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.
Ed was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 14, 1952 to Bobby Lee Dalton and the late Wilma Jean Simmering.
In addition to his mother, Ed was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Sue Baker; brother, Dale Dalton; and mother-in-law, Wanda Matta.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sue Dalton; daughter, Ashley (Mike) Barnett; grandchildren, Addison and Samuel Baker; son-in-law, Darron Baker; father, Bobby Lee Dalton; brother, Robert (Bev) Dalton; sister-in-laws, Charlene Del Turco and Mary White; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Ed was a devoted family man. He loved nature and being outdoors. Ed enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 10-10:30 am at the Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering, OH 45439. The memorial service will follow at 10:30 am. Ed will be laid to rest at Beavertown Cemetery, Kettering, OH.
Donations may be made in Ed's memory to the Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
