Tammy Lynn Mcfarland

Tammy Lynn "Tamrock" McFarland, age 52 of West Carrollton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 23, 2021. She was born on February 11, 1969 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Kenneth McFarland and Dawn Bernard. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jody McFarland and her grandparents, Hollie and Howard Sorrell.

Tammy is survived by two children, Nicholas Maxwell and Ashley (John) Woodruff; four grandchildren, Carlyle, Nolynn, Landon, and Journey; stepmother, Wilma McFarland; two nephews, Kenny McFarland and Riley Backus; two nieces, Savanah and Joleen McFarland; uncle, Neimann (Cindy) Sorrell; and best friend, Candy Massie. She is also survived by numerous cousins, family, and friends.

Tammy was extremely generous and compassionate. She spent her life caring for others. Tammy worked alongside her brother as an STNA at Grandview Hospital for many years in addition to being a homemaker. She enjoyed dinning out with family, online shopping, and watching cooking shows or the Lifetime Network. Tammy is well loved and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with funeral services to follow at 11:00am at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio, 45439. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
