Bentley Oliver Ray, was born August 15, 2019 in Kettering, Ohio and passed away on May 21, 2021.
Bentley was preceded in death by his grandmother, Eileen Jergens; uncle, Cody Dennis; and great-grandpa, Jack Powers.
Bentley is survived by his loving parents: Brandon and Breanna Ray; brother, Waylon Ray; grandparents: Tracy and Brad Powers & Jeremy Ray; great-grandparents: Cindy and Edgar Dennis, Elizabeth Powers, & Norma and Jeff Ayers; aunts and uncles: Cory Dennis, Braden Powers, Emily Powers and Jackie Powers; his loving staff at Dayton Children's Hospital; beloved dogs, Heidi and Bo; numerous other relatives and friends.
Bentley loved the movie, Cars; watching The Wiggles; and dancing and listening to music. More than anything, Bentley was a warrior, he was a fighter 'til the very end. He touched many lives and will be very missed by all who knew him or his story.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm. Eric Moorman officiating. A balloon release in Bentley's honor will take place immediately following the service.
