Debra Kay Slone, age 53 of New Carlisle, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born May 19, 1967 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Richard Keller and Billie Jean Abdon.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Wendell Dean Slone and her father, Richard Keller.
Debra is survived by her two sons, Shane Slone and Eric Slone; mother, Billie Jean Abdon; siblings, Tim (Debbie) Hooker, Nona (Darryl) Rose and Kim Timcik; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends; beloved dog, Bandit.
She was a graduate of Fairborn High School. Debbie was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of New Carlisle where she was active in Awanas and children's religious education. Debbie worked for 18 years at Benjamin Burger Master of Dayton. She enjoyed puzzle books, she was a competitive 500 Rummy player and enjoyed playing board games with her family. Debbie was fond of the outdoors and taking walks at Lake Loramie State Park
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at First Baptist Church (8870 OH-571, New Carlisle, Ohio 45344) where her funeral service will follow at 11:30 am. Burial will take place at Dayton National Cemetery.
