Ruth Davis, age 90 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born March 4, 1931 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of George and Elnora Hammersly.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her children, Jack Faris, Jr., Freda Marlene McCain, Darold E. Davis; grandchildren, Darold Adam Davis, Jason McCain, Aaron Keith Faris, Chaz Davis, James Damron, Barry Barker, Jr. and Jordan Martel
Ruth is survived by her daughters, Debbie Faris and Dorcas (Trevor) Rutherford; grandchildren, Devon Faris, Nicholas Faris, Eric (Jolene) Faris, Stacy (Mark) Weaver, Christina Summers, Justin Bailey, Charles (Lisa) Bailey, Diana Bailey, Brittney Bailey, James (Lisa) McCain, Jonathon McCain, Amber Davis, Mackayla Davis, Nicole (Jason) Martel, Doyle Grubb, Jr. and Bridget (Matthew) Hanauer; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Faris, Maddie Weaver, Mark Weaver, Jr., Faith Bailey, Alana Roush, Aubrey McCloud, William McCloud, Jr., Jason Jones, Jr., Jaxson Jones, Jaylynn Jones, Jaylee Jones, Kiara McCain, Briana McCain, Charity McCain, Marley McCain, Zheal McCain, Jonathon McCain, Jr., Elizabeth Northern, Atara Miller, George Miller, Brandon Barker, Leah Martel, Alexis Martel, Jason Martel, Jr., Bentley Martel, Caleb Grubb, Cailey Grubb, Catilyn Grubb, Doyle Grubb, Jr., Miles Grubb, Abagail Grubb, Havana Hanauer and Matthew Hanauer; great great-grandson, Jackson Barker; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 23, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road.
