Scott H. Davis passed away on March 24, 2021 at his home in Port St. Lucie, FL after complications from existing health conditions and illness.
Scott was born in Richmond, VA on September 30, 1962 to James and Shirley Davis. After living in VA several years, Scott and family moved to Enon, OH where he would spend the remainder of his formative years, causing general mischief, making life-long friendships, developing a love for motorcycles, and graduating from Springfield Greenon High School in 1981.
Upon reaching adulthood, he felt the pull of sunshine, ocean, beach, and independence (and prodding from several buddies) to move to Florida. He spent the next decades working, riding, making new friends, and discovering new passions: fishing and scuba diving. Scott also met, dated, and married Doris Freyman where they spent several more years together sharing their lives and combined tall tales of fishing and biking adventures with friends and family before parting ways. He was a loving son, husband, step-father, cousin, friend, and brother.
Scott is survived by his two loving brothers Mark and Lee, his ex-wife Doris Freyman, several cousins, and an aunt.
Some of us will miss a fishing buddy, some of us will miss a biker friend, some of us will miss our uncle or cousin, but most of all we will miss our beloved brother.
An informal memorial service will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 3 p.m. followed by visitation until 5 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. The state of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks be worn in all public places.
