Michael David Kraus

Michael David Kraus, age 33 of Centerville, passed away February 12, 2021. He was born April 8, 1987 in Houston, TX to his parents, David R. and Joni (Wiltshire) Kraus. Michael is preceded in death by his father, David; maternal grandmother, Janice (Kelchner) Wiltshire; paternal grandparents, Jeannine and Richard Kraus; aunt, Honorbell Kraus; grandpa, Larry Gaines and great-grandma, Zelle Gaines.

He is survived by his 2 children, Ava Rose and Colton; mother, Joni Kraus; sisters, Michele Gaines and Trinity Huston; maternal grandfather, James Wiltshire Sr.; grandmother, Geraldine Gaines; uncle, James (Robyn) Wiltshire, Jr.; Timothy Gaines, Joseph Hood, Nichole Hood and extended family and dear friends.

Michael has always had great aptitude. Michael was in the process of getting his Bachelors Degree in software development at Devry University. In his free time he enjoyed drawing, writing and producing his own songs, or playing the drums if he wasn't already busy dancing. We will miss mostly his silliness and ability to make people smile and laugh.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, 45459) where a service will begin at 7 PM. In celebration and honor of Michael, please wear red or black, his favorite colors.
