Mary M. Hampton

Mary M. Hampton, age 81 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at her home. She was born November 15, 1939 in Pikeville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late James and Maudy Robinson.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Hampton and her infant son, Chad Hampton; siblings, Barbara Thacker, Phyllis Billiter and Dean Robinson.

Mary is survived by her son, Donald Hampton; daughter, Rebekah Michelle (Scott) Feltner; grandchildren, Zachary and Dylan Feltner; and brother, Edward Robinson; numerous nieces, nephews and her church family at Overlook Church of Christ.

Mary was a devoted mother who was actively involved in her children's schooling. She volunteered in the classroom and took pride as a mother. She was an adoring grandmother who loved to spend time with her grandchildren and her family.

Family will receive friends on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Willow View Cemetery.

The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public places.
