Vincent T. Vidoni, 90, entered peacefully into eternal life on Friday, Feb. 5, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. Vincent was born Dec. 29, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of Leonard C. and Helen R. "Svihla" Vidoni.
He graduated from high school in Imperial, PA where he lived with his family. He served in the Army and was stationed in the Aleutian Islands in Alaska. Vincent attended Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH and worked for Titanium Metals Corp. in Toronto, OH. On April 8, 1961 Vincent was united in marriage to the former Therese Evelyn Dulong. In 1972, Vincent and his family moved to Dayton, OH where he worked for the University of Dayton. He was a parishioner at Queen of Martyrs Church.
His memory will be remembered by those he loved and leaves behind, his wife Therese Evelyn Vidoni and daughter Teressa Anne (Timothy "Tim" Smith), and many other family and friends. Vincent was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Louis L. Vidoni.
There will be visitation before Mass on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, beginning at 10AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11AM at Queen of Martyrs Church, 4134 Cedar Ridge Rd., Dayton, with the Rev. Benoit Mukamba officiating. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Coraopolis, PA, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vincent's memory and mailed to: Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420. Please write Vincent's name on the check and make check payable to: Hospice of Dayton Foundation.
