Lea, Robert "Bob" age 88, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio. He was born on August 28, 1932 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Bob served in the United States Air Force and volunteered at the National Air Force Museum for 22 years. He retired from NCR in December 1993. Bob was a member for many years at the First Baptist Church of Kettering.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Marjorie Lee (Sturgill) Lea.
Bob will be deeply missed by his loving children, Bob (Kate) Lea, Sharon (Mark) Slater, Cathy (Keith) Hunter; grandchildren, Amanda (Andrew) Fedorisin, Kaitlyn (Zach) Smith, Adam Hunter (Meghan Puckett), Hannah Lea, Alex Lea, Nicole Lea; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lucy and John Masters; niece, Joyce (Art) Casci; and a host of other family members and friends.
Services will be held privately with the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association and to the Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio.
A special 'Thank You' to the workers/caregivers at the Veterans Home for the loving, compassionate care you provide to these veterans and also to Grace Hospice's services.
