Dennis E. "Wolfman" Potts, age 63, of Riverside, passed away on January 26, 2021, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on October 5, 1957, the son of the late Robert and Dottie Potts.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Diane Davidson; his best friend, Johnny Barlow; and his fur baby, Max.

Dennis is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Sheila Potts; children, Misty Potts, Tony Potts, Sarah Potts, Katie Potts, Adam Potts and Tessa Potts; grandchildren, Kenzie, Kylie, Randy, Jr., Mason, Gracie, Lily, Layla, Carter, Jesse, Addison, Adam, Jr., Mia and Myah; sisters, Julie Kinder and Marcia Potts; brothers, Tim Potts and Mark Potts; and many other loving family and friends.

He was a Truck Driver for many years. He was not only a Truck Driver but also a Bus Driver for the City of Dayton and Mad River. Dennis even drove after retiring, mostly for his family. In his free time, he loved to draw, play drums, work on cars, work out, listen to music, tell stories and especially spend time with his grandchildren. He was a selfless man, always there for those he loved, no matter how he may have been feeling. He was known for giving the best hugs!!! Dennis was also always there with words of advice and encouragement, that were much appreciated. He was one of those people you could talk to for hours. His love was deeply felt and will be greatly missed. His love affected many others, especially to his extended "sons and daughters". He thought of everyone as FAMILY!

A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date, please check back for more information.

And in the words of Dennis, he wants everyone to know, "It's not goodbye, it's I'll see you later!"
