Michael S. Rainey

Michael S. "Orange Ghost"Rainey was born to James and Mildred Rainey on January 29, 1952 in Dayton Ohio. He departed this life on January 5, 2021. Michael went to Roosevelt high school home of the teddies, He also received his GED from Patterson co-op night school. Michael had various of jobs, He worked for Wright Patterson Air Force Base Landing Gear Test Facilities , Crowne Plaza Hotel and Clarion hotel. Michael was an active member of Roosevelt class of 1970 alumni chapter... Michael loved his motorcycle more then life.

Michael was proceeded in his death by his mother and his father, brothers Cecil, William, Jimmy Rainey and Sister Frances Gross. Also, his niece Esa Gray.

Michael leaves to cherish his loving daughter Tiffany (Charles) Cooper, Son Rodney(Renita) Rainey, Brothers Ronnie (Pam)Rainey, Gerald Rainey, Two Sisters Peggy Rainey and Linda (Clinnon) Pauley. 13 grandchildren Rochell Rainey, Charles Cooper, Kala Cooper, Te'Rea Cooper, Dashaun Rainey, Michel'le Rainey, D'Arco Rainey, James Jones, India Rainey, Christopher Shepherd, Keyera Wilson, Jakeya Rainey, Jaleesa Cameron. 6 Great Grandchildren Dallas Lowe, Akari Cooper, Jordeyn Stewart, Jailah Stewart, J'ale Ford and Jilvonie Cameron. An a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 1-3 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. The state of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks be worn in all public places.
