Patrick "Pat"A. Laughlin

Patrick "Pat" A. Laughlin, age 70, of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
Pat was born in Xenia, Ohio on April 20, 1950 to the late Edward & Ginny Laughlin.
In addition to his parents, Pat was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Laughlin.
Pat is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Debbie Laughlin; children, Heather (Joe) Parlette, Carrie (Scott) Harry and Rachael (Stephen) Ritchie; grandchildren, Justin, Max, Valerie, Meghan, Olivia, Samuel and Joanna; siblings, Dan (Kay) Laughlin, Mark (Diane) Laughlin and Katie (Ed) Timko; and many other relatives and friends.
Pat proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard U.S.S. Conyngham during Vietnam.
He retired from Dayton Progress after 44 years of service.
Pat loved to cook on his Weber grill and insisted on annual family beach vacations. Spending time with his family made him happy.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held on Saturday February 6, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439). Military honors will take place at 5:00 pm. The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public places.
