Howard Henderson Black, age 49 of Dayton, went Home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 6, 2020. He was born on August 27, 1971 in Dayton, Ohio.
Howard was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio. As a young child, Howard was in the choir and loved to sing for the Lord. He was also a member of the Young David's.
Howard graduated from Patterson Co-Op High School in 1991, where he gained a certification in Culinary Arts. Howard was a talented football player and wrestler in junior high school and high school.
Howard loved great music, playing dominoes, playing cards, football, making everyone laugh and smile, and most of all, taking care of his FAMILY.
Howard was Loving, Caring, Honest, Compassionate, Giving, a Protector, a Provider, A Real Friend, Available to Anyone in Need! But Most of All, A CHILD OF GOD. His Actions told it ALL!
Howard is preceded in death by his grandfather, Harry Henderson Boone; uncles, Richard Breckenridge, Charles Breckenridge; and
aunt, Dorothy Dukes.
Howard leaves to cherish in his memory, his loving son, DeAaron Turner; grandson, Lemer Turner; mother, Frances Jiles; father, Howard (Diane) Black; Donald L. Horton Jr.; grandmother, Margaret Boone; siblings, Laticha (Ron ) McElroy, Angelo (Audrey Eichel) Black, Dion (Tiffiani) Black, Nadia Black; Special Aunt, Dellia Williamson; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family members.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 12 pm to 1 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424). A Memorial Service will begin at 1 pm. The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks will be worn in all public places.
