Michael Christopher "Turk" Penrod, age 49, of Dayton, passed away on December 1, 2020, at his home with his loving family and close friends by his side. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on August 20, 1971, the son of the late Harry and Shirley Penrod.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Donna Rudd Penrod.
Michael is survived by his fiance', Leslie Lynn Maye; his sons, Michael (Tasha) Rudd, Christopher Penrod, Alexander Penrod and Damon Penrod; siblings, Pam (Richard)Pauley, Charles Penrod and Steven Penrod; and many other loving family and friends.
He was a member of the American Bicycle Association. Michael was a BMX Professional rider and former ABA Racing Champion. In his free time, he loved to play drums, working on his hot rods in the garage, spending time with his kids and listening to music. He always had his music playing no matter where he was. Michael was a genuine person, nothing fake about him, he had a heart of gold. He always made everyone feel welcome, especially in his home.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 17th, 2020, from 5pm-6pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Memorial Service will begin at 6pm on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
