Anthony "Tony" Lee Gray, age 30 of Carlisle, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 22, 2020. He was born July 31, 1990 in Middletown, Ohio the son of Rodney Gray and Kelly (Patrick) Desch.
Along with his father, Rod, who passed away on November 11, 2020, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Janet Stepp; maternal grandfather, Larry Patrick.
Tony is survived by his beloved sons, Carter Lee and Colton Ian; loving mother and step-father, Kelly and Joe Desch; siblings, Heather Gray, Crystal Gray, twin brother, Tommy Gray, Sarah (Jake) Faine and Joseph (Alexis) Desch, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Judy Patrick; paternal grandfather, Ken (Barb) Gray; nieces and nephews, Braylen, Daniella, Makayla, Joey and Mia; many aunts, uncles, loving family and friends.
He graduated from Carlisle High School in 2009. Tony was the catcher of many championship baseball teams, in which his twin brother, Tommy was his favorite pitcher. He was very athletic who enjoyed playing soccer and disc golf with his buddies. Tony loved to eat, especially his mother's biscuits and gravy (and loved her burnt grilled cheese sandwiches) along with his sister's, Heather's chicken ranch enchiladas, Crystal's chicken and dumplings and grandma Judy's green beans. Tony never missed his son's basketball, football or soccer games. Most of all, Tony cherished his time with his sons, whether it be muddin', fishing in the creek, playing video games or snuggling on the couch.
A walk through visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Newcomer Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459.
To honor Tony, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tony's family on behalf of his children.
