Roger Dale Burton, age 80 of Bellbrook, passed away November 23, 2020 at The Hospice of Dayton with his family by his side. He was born February 21, 1940 in Dayton, OH to the late Schuyler and Stella (Rainwater) Burton. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his daughter, Margie; grandchildren, Cheyanne and Skylar; sister, Helen and brothers, Bob, Ron, Don, Terry, John, and Steve.
He is survived by his wife, Valerie Burton and they were married on December 31, 1979. Dale is also survived by his sons, Roger and Robert; daughters, Shannon and Suzanne; granddaughters, Sierra, Leah, Kayla, Tiffany and Amanda; grandsons, Dale and Logan; great grandchildren, Baylee, Savannah and Camden; brother, Richard; best friends, Bill Lee and Chris Metzler; former wife, Wanda; loving extended family of nieces and nephews; his crew dogs, Tina, Lady, Lucky, Dora, Belle, Little Bitz, Chewey, Lonesum, Brusier, Bear and Moo.
Dale's greatest attribute was to love. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends just shooting the breeze.
Due to the current pandemic situation, a celebration of Dale's life will be held at a later date. Please continue to check back to watch the slide show of Dale and his family.
