Jessie R. Wheeler

Jessie Rhea Wheeler, age 87 of Riverside, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born July 12, 1933 in Spencer, Tennessee to the late Floyd and Ermon Curtis.

In addition to her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wheeler; son-in-law, Joe Heaton; a brother and sisters.

Jessie will be missed by her two daughters, Erma "Gay" Briney and Linda Heaton; grandchildren, Amy Briney, Stephanie Briney, Lacie (Jason) Burdette and Tyler (Keith) Heaton; great grandchildren, Taevian, Jonah, Iren, Madison and Peyton; and sister, Helen Curtis; and her nieces and nephews.

Jessie was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved her family and was always a good mother to her daughters, Erma and Linda. She embraced her Southern roots and always found the best in everyone. To know Jessie was to know how caring she was.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Burial Royal Oak Memorial Gardens.
