Rickey (Rick) B. Sargent 62, of Germantown, OH went to be with the Lord on 08/03/20 in Columbus, OH at the James.
Rick was born on 07/12/58 in Dayton, OH to Rosalie Sargent-Boroughs and Lewis Sargent. Rick worked at Crown Cork & Seal for 19 years where he met his beloved wife of 32 years, Chris. Together they shared 5 children, Dustin (Katie) Sargent, Emily (Phil) Harvey, Jesse (Kelsey) Sargent, Jared (Brooke) Sargent, and Kaitlynn (Jason) Blevins; 9 grandchildren, Kaylee, Landon, Brody, Winston, Emma, Duke, Ava, Zane, and Myla Jane.
Rick enjoyed spending his free time with his children & playing with his grandchildren, fishing, and going to the lake.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lewis Sargent; brother, Jeffrey Sargent; step-father, JW Boroughs; mother, Rosalie Sargent-Boroughs.
Rick is also survived by his brother, Douglas (Lana) Sargent; nephew, Eric Fields; nieces, Brittani (Billy) Lipinski, Lesley (Zach) Ferone, and Lauren (Nick) Sargent; multiple great-nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 9-11 am at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. The service will follow at 11 am. Rickey will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Miamisburg, OH.
