Donna L. Cook, age 78, of West Carrollton, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 18, 2020. She was born on April 30, 1942 in Welch, West Virginia to the late Thomas Everett & Eva C. (White) Solomon.
Donna was a devoted wife, she loved her family-especially her grandkids. She was an avid quilter. Donna enjoyed her sweets and having a diet coke. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Paul "Sonny" Whitney Cook and sister, Sue Graham.
Donna is survived by her daughters, Eva (Thomas) Cundiff and Sherri (Robert) Stroud; grandchildren, Sarah Stiver, Ben (Lisa) Spahr, Ashley Stroud, Lindsey Stroud, Brittany Stroud and Michael Stroud; great-grandchildren, Grace Ashburn, Faith Ashburn, Jude Spahr, Silas Spahr, Emily Harris and Michael Caffey; sister, Doris (Jerry) Redmond; brothers, Charles (Carol) Solomon and Kenneth (Pat) Solomon Sr.; numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 22, 2020 from 2-4pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. The service will follow at 4pm, with her nephew, Kenneth Solomon Jr. officiating.
