James E. "Jim" Butler, Jr., age 57 of Huber Heights, passed away May 23, 2020. He was born November 19, 1962 in Bowling Green, Ohio. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Butler; and sister, Martha Challen.
Jim is survived by his wife, Missy Butler; children: Jason Butler, Timothy Butler (Erica), Megan Butler, Wesley Pullins (Angela) and Ryan Pullins; grandchildren: McKenzie, Tara, Keaton, Haylee, Wyatt, Kaleb, Ellie, Cadence and Kennedy; parents: Jim and Peggy Butler; sisters: Becky Butler, Julie Moser (Paul), Tina McGraw (Dan) and Rachel Stacey (Bruce Horning); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jim graduated from Patrick Henry High School, Class of 1981. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and then followed in his father's footsteps by becoming a truck driver. He was currently employed with Univar Solutions. Jim was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers football fan and enjoyed going to concerts and riding motorcycles. More than anything, Jim loved his family.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where a service will follow. Contributions may be made in Jim's memory to Shriner's Hospital or to a favorite charity of your choice.
