Brenda Lee Cochran, age 59 of Springfield, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020. She was born June 9, 1960 in Akron, OH the daughter of Rowland Carper Sr. and Dorma Riggs.
Brenda graduated from Wright State University with a BSN in 2001, where she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau. She worked at Children's Medical Center from 2001-2008 and Good Samaritan Hospital from 2008-2012. She was a proud breast cancer Survivor. Brenda loved cross stitching, diamond painting, reading, and spending time with her family.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Jimmy; children, Amanda (Thomas) Panetti, Andrea Cochran, Jessica (Brian) Erdas & Anthony Cochran; grandchildren, Logan, Alexis, Hunter, Emma, Evan, Lorelai & Salem; aunt, Dorothy (Gary) Ringler; brothers, Daniel (Penny) Carper & Rowland (Kim) Carper Jr.; brother-in-law, Roger Brown; mother-in-law, Jessie Cochran; sister-in-laws, Anita (Don) Dunaway, Patricia (Bob) Julian, Susie (Eric) Kleinhans & Katherine (Dennis) Cordell; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members & fur babies.
She is preceded in death by her father, Rowland Carper, Sr.; mother, Dorma Jean Riggs; step-father, Wayne Riggs; grandson, Cameron Panetti; grandparents, Addie (Merle) Metheney; sister, Sandra Brown; nieces, Angela Combs & Loretta Moore and father-in-law, James Cochran Sr.
Funeral Service will be held on May 21, 2020 at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation will be prior to the service from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
