Dennis A. Hicks, age 69, of Kettering, Ohio passed away peacefully at Hospice of Dayton May 9, 2020 after an extended illness. He was born May 20, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to the late John and Florence Hicks.
Dennis was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He will be remember for his wicked sense of humor. Making people laugh was his greatest joy. Dennis enjoyed playing pool, golfing, Indy 500 racing, and spending time with his family. He was a great family man who put others first and treated his nieces and nephews like they were his own.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Anne Gannon; and nephew, Timothy Taylor.
Dennis is survived by his sisters, Kathy Adams, Jacquie Adams, and Linda Taylor; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of family members and friends.
Memorial contributions can be made in Dennis' honor to the National Kidney Foundation.
A celebration of Life for Dennis will be held at a later date.
