Terry Rice

Terry Lee Rice, age 72 of Kettering, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born May 25, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Millard and Stella Rice. He is also preceded in death by his brother, John Murphy.

He is survived by his wife Kathie; three sons, Brent (Kricket) Rice, Todd (Abby) Rice, Nathan (Sarabeth) Rice; bonus children, Mekia Micklem, Jacob (Leah) Zedaker, Jesse (Amanda) Zedaker; eleven grandchildren, Sunny, Alice, Iris, Luke, and Naomi Rice, Parker and Olivia Micklem, Rianna Thacker, Jackson, Cassius, and William Zedaker; sister, Connie (Rick) Jones; Brother, Jack (Diane) Rice; sister in law, Dianne Merritt; He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Terry was retired from the Beavercreek School district where he was an elementary teacher. In addition to teaching he was a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker. Terry was known for being a prankster to his grandkids and he never met a stranger. He loved fishing, watching sports, and spending quality time with his family and many friends.
