A small, immediate family only service will be held at the Newcomer funeral home in Kettering Saturday afternoon. As we all know, the pandemic involving the country has changed normal business in a very dramatic way. We are not able to properly honor Edward J. Biron at this time due to the current situation. He will be buried at Dayton National Cemetery next week as Edward had wished. Unfortunately, we cannot honor the Colonel with a full military send off at this time. The VA has assured us that when the restrictions are lifted, he will receive the proper honor he so richly deserves at the gravesite. Please sign the guestbook with contact information and we will contact all at the appropriate time when we have a date.
The Biron family must acknowledge the exceptional job and determination by the folks at Miami Valley Hospital. The ICU and Critical Care Team were outstanding in the three weeks Edward was there and all the staff that worked with him said he was a wonderful man. Thank you.
