Gregory A. Simmons

Gregory "Greg" A. Simmons, age 61, of Dayton, Ohio on May 2, 2020. Greg was born December 1, 1958 in Peoria, Illinois to the late Clyde and Grace Simmons. Greg went to his heavenly home and is reunited with his Savior and his loved ones waiting for him. He will be missed but he is singing with the angels on the streets of gold.

Greg was a loving husband. Singing praises to his Lord was his life. He enjoyed bowling, softball, computers, and spending time with his wife. Greg was a great cook and a great teacher. Greg had a great sense of humor and enjoyed bringing laughter to others.

In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Eden; and sister, Judy Allen.

Greg is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Alice Simmons; brother, Owen Simmons; brother-in-law's, Alan (Liz) Thurman, Terry (Sharon) Thurman; sister-in-law, Dorothy (Dave) Click; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as a host of family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
