Shelley E. Eversole

April 20, 1960 — April 24, 2020

Shelley E. (Castle) Eversole, age 60 of Enon, OH, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born April 20, 1960 in Paintsville, KY, the daughter of Billy and Barbara Castle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Robert Hubbard.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Eversole; her children, Barb (Jeremy) Weaver, Desiree Sullivan, Patrick (Autumn) Kelley, and step-daughters, Lacey Eversole and Lyndsey Vandiver; siblings, Marcus Castle, Bryan Castle, Adrian Castle, Billie Castle, Verna Frei, Tressa Smith, and Myra Jones; 11 grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, sister and brother-in-laws and friends.

Shelley let her love of helping others shine through during her time as a dedicated nurse. She was always there to help anyone in their time of need whether it be a ride, a meal, giving advice, lending a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on. She enjoyed spending time outdoors swimming and gardening. Shelley loved to go bowling with her family and painting ceramics. But most of all she loved spending time with her family sharing laughs and watching her grandchildren grow.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Pastor Joe Hofmann.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the honor of Shelley to Kettering Cancer Center, www.giving.mskcc.org/donations.

Due to the current environment surrounding the coronavirus, services for Shelley will be held privately. Thank you for your understanding during this challenging time.
