Karen G. Bowman

Karen G. Bowman, age 64 of Dayton, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Trinity Nursing Home. She was born November 21, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Clarence W. and Mary Alice Grist. In addition to her parents, Karen was also preceded in death by her sister, Alice Joy Rico; and nephew, Trevor James Ufferman.

Karen is survived by her husband, Danny Bowman; two daughters: Stacy Easterling and Amanda (Daniel) Cotton; brothers: Jerry (Linda) Grist and Rodney (Carla) Grist; four sisters: Roxanna (Mike) Laycox, Patricia Grist, Debbie (Larry) Ufferman and Christina Grist; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

She was a graduate from Olentangy High School Class of 1974 and Otterbein College in 1978. She was a vibrant and strong willed hard worker, known for her faith, love of animals, and her sense of humor.

Karen was deeply loved by her husband and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers please make any memorial contributions to Danny Bowman.
