Connie L. Spence, age 69, of Xenia, Ohio passed away surrounded by her family March 17,2020 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born August 6, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Martin Method and Janet Stiver.
Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a social butterfly that never knew a stranger. She was loved by all who knew her. She retired from Kroger after 22 years of employment where she was a cashier. Connie was a member of the Beavercreek Senior Center and the Beavercreek VFW. In her free time Connie loved to shop and spend time with her family as well as loving her fur babies Gidget and Heidi.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her two husbands, David VanHorn and Herbert Spence; brother, Charles Method; and two grandchildren.
Connie is survived by her daughters, Angela ( Kenny) Ppool, and Alicia (Jeff) Collins; grandchildren, Marty (Liz) Riley, Mikayla (Andrew) Duncan, Dustin Ppool, and Brent (Courtney) Ppool; great-grandchildren, Ella, Grayson, Noah, Aaliyah, Chloe, Liam, Blaine, Bryleigh, and Ashtyn; brother, Cliff (Glenda) Method; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Due to the current environment surrounding the corona virus, services for Connie will be private. Thank you for understanding during this challenging time.
