Betty J. Davis

June 20, 1962 — February 21, 2020

Betty Jean Davis, age 57, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away on the evening of Friday, February 21, 2020, from injuries sustained from a multiple vehicle accident earlier that evening with her oldest daughter Amanda Marie Kidwell (36) passed, Brayden Jennings (6) passed, and Adriana Sanchez (8) survived.

Betty was born June 20, 1962, in Dayton, Ohio. She was the first of three children born to Carol Ann Davis. She and had spent most of her life as a Dayton resident. She has made many lifelong friends over the years. She spent the majority of her career in auto sales which started out at an auto auction as well as factory work. In her last position, she had worked as a salesperson for Bill Williams Auto Sales, Inc. She loved her family, friends, God, and animals. She loved taking care of plants. She had the best green thumb. She enjoyed going to the thrift stores and yard sales with her girls. She enjoyed going to church with her sister Sharon at Engage City Church and listening to Pastor Doug Wampler. She enjoyed playing bingo, amusement parks, fairs, carnivals, concerts, corn hole, swimming, just spending time with her family, and she loved watching football. She spoke very fondly of Mr. Bill Williams and her family at the car lot in Middletown. She had a great appreciation for Mr. Williams as he did of her.

Betty Jean was preceded in death by her mother Carol A Viers; stepfather Carl Smith; aunt Beverly Davis; uncle Bob Davis; uncle James Davis; uncle Johnny Ray Martz; granddaughter Ashlyn Sanchez; grandmother Georgia Martz; and grandfather Cary Davis.

She is survived by her youngest daughter Megan Dukes (18), Middletown; her sister Sharon (Rick) Lafferty; her brother Donald (Sherri) Smith; her grandchildren Aliyah Parks (18), Alissa Parks (16), Autumn Parks (13), and Adriana (8); her nephews Richard Lafferty, Michael Lafferty, Ryan Lafferty, and Brandon Smith; her nieces Brittney Smith and Chelsie Smith; her cousins Michelle Davis-Adkins; Stephanie Babb, April Anders, and Daniel Martz; her second cousins Mecahala Adkins, Robert Adkins, Jacob Martz, Jamie Babb, and Stephanie Sparks; and the many family members we may have not met.
