Ruth Ann Mccullough

Ruth Ann McCullough, 81, a longtime resident of West Carrollton passed away on Friday February 28th, 2020 at home with her loving husband by her side.
Ruth was born November 5th, 1938 to Floyd and Naomi Wade in Murray City. Ruth married the love of her life on July 25th, 1957.
Ruth will be remembered by her husband of 62 years Robert McCullough, and their children, Julie Holtzman, Robert (Diana) McCullough, Anthony McCullough, Eddie (Anita) McCullough and Stacey (Jeffrey) Lind. Ruth will also be fondly remembered by her sisters Beverly Jean Woodrum, Laraine Loper and Mary Lou Dane, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and extended family. Ruth was preceded in death by son Gary McCullough, grandson Garrett McCullough and Siblings, Peggy Wadley, Judy Clary, and Jerry Wade.
Ruth was a devoted mother and Mamaw who found much joy in watching her children and grandchildren grow. Ruth was also an avid race car fan.
In keeping with the wishes of Ruth there will be no funeral service. Ruth will be interred at the Dayton National Cemetery.
No-one hears the door that opens
So gently comes the call
Like loosened leaves of roses
One by one our loved ones fall
All is dark within our home
Lonely are our hearts today
For one we loved so dearly
Has forever passed away
We little knew when woke that morn
The sorrow the day would bring
For the call was sudden, the shock severe
To part with one we loved so dear.
