Sheila P. Turner, age 68 of Dayton, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born October 9, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Paul Williams and Gloria Jean Childs.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Turner; sister, Kathryn Moore; aunt, Delores Davenport.
Sheila is survived by her niece, Gina (John) Whitfield; nephews, Ronald Williams, Mitchell Williams; step-daughter, Michelle Pauley; sisters, Lynn Berry, LaDonna Melson, Thalia Harris; brother, Orlando Melson; sister-in-law and good friend, Anita Edwards; friend, Ronald Appleberry; as well as numerous cousins, great nieces, nephews, grandchildren and many friends.
Sheila retired from Residential Home Association of Greater Dayton after many years of employment. She maintained strong relationships with her former coworkers, even after her retirement.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will begin at 1 pm.
