Danny Wayne Holmes

HOLMES, Danny, 62, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020. Danny was born on March 1, 1957 to John Holmes and Marjorie (Spencer) Holmes who preceded him in death.

Danny leaves to cherish his memory his son Danny (Caylin) Holmes, daughter Summer Rose (John Mills) Holmes, five grandchildren, Hunter Mills, Fischer Mills, Journey Mills, Jada Mills, Everleigh Holmes two step-grandchildren Aubrey Nyberg, Landon Nyberg. Also surviving are three brothers, Kenny (Charlene) Holmes, Timothy Holmes, Stephen (Chawn) Holmes, two sisters, Brenda (Randall) Sisco, Linda (Bob) Fundis, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family, lifelong partner Joy Holmes, sister-in-law Tina Hanson, and brother-in-law Arthur Hanson.

Danny was a 1975 graduate of Northridge High School and, was a carpet contractor for Dayton Carpet Liquidators. Avid outdoorsman and, loved to play golf in the Lanes and Fairways League.

There will be a celebration of Danny's life, will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the AMALGAMATED TRANSIT UNION HALL, 6051 North Dixie Drive, Dayton. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, Dayton North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Contributions in memory of Danny may be made to his son Danny.
