Mary E. Zimmerman

ZIMMERMAN, Mary E., age 86 of Kettering, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 25, 2020. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 26, 1933 to Michael & Katherine (Sifferman) Falvey.
She was a graduate of the University of Dayton and was a Mad River Local Schools teacher for more than 30 with most of the years teaching First Grade at Beverly Gardens Elementary School.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sisters, Rita Falvey, Patrica Henn, Theresa McCray & Ruth Shank; and a brother in law, Phil Shank.
Mary is survived by her husband, Robert Zimmerman; daughters Lee Carter (Greg) and Lynn Fox (Terry); 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren: sisters Virginia Frankenburger (Jack), Delores Spivak, Maureen Schutte (Dale); and other relatives and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am at Ascension Catholic Church, 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering, Ohio 45420. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
