David Lee Pietrzak, age 64 of West Milton, went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2020. He was born December 26, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Peter and Doris Joanne Pietrzak. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his son, David Lee Pietrzak Jr.; daughter, Lynda Joanne Pietrzak; brothers: Mike, Jim and Pete Pietrzak; and sister, Deb Pietrzak.
David is survived by his devoted love of 19 years, Nancy Gilletly; children: Paul Pietrzak, John Pietrzak (Sarah) and Anthony Pietrzak; grandchildren: Cassidy, Anthony Jr., Alyssa, John Calvin, Anna, Dominic, Marley Jane, Kash, Miley and McKenzie; brother, Doug Pietrzak (Tammy); sisters: Judy Rockwood and Paula Carpenter (Mark); sister-in-law, Verna Pietrzak; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. David is also survived by Nancy's loving family: Carrie Reed (Barry), Katie Wooddell (Brian) and their families.
David was a Truck Driver for more than 35 years; he was lovingly referred to as "Tank" by his trucking family. He enjoyed his motorcycles, anything Harley Davidson, shining, polishing and wiping down anything chrome. He was very frequently the life of the party and was proud of his Polish heritage and being a former Boy Scout.. He could be found every day watching Price is Right, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune surrounded by his fur babies: Faye, Jack, Tawney, Kit and Socks. His most proud names were Grandpa and Pop Pop.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 pm on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Our Lady of Rosary Catholic Church, 22 Notre Dame Avenue. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
