NORMA JEAN THOMAS was born in Scott, Arkansas on February 28, 1937 to Sula Maude and Billie Joe Thomas; both of whom preceded her in death. Norma was called to glory on December 27, 2019 after a short battle with kidney disease. Norma taught us the meaning of family, forgiveness, and love. Her quiet, strong spirit touched all those she met in this life and will be forever missed by all. Norma was a member of the Ethan Temple Seventh Day Adventist Church. A retired laboratory technician, she enjoyed playing bingo, singing, reading and watching old westerns. Norma was preceded in death by her 6 sisters; 5 brothers; 2 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory 2 sisters, Minnie Copeland and Jesse Terry; 3 brothers, Patrick Thomas, Burtram Thomas (Phyllis), and Eugene Thomas (Anna Lisa); 5 daughters, Carolyn Weaver (Kenneth), Benita Thomas-Davis (Theodore), Denise Thomas, Tracey James (Terrell) and Kim Thomas (Anthony); son, Carlos Thomas (Mary); 19 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 4 great, great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
