Darlene M. Hall, age 57 of Xenia, OH passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Soin Medical Center. She was born June 22, 1962 in Madison County, Ohio to Kenneth Melvin and Phyllis (Wright) Scalf. Darlene married Cecil Hall on August 15, 1998 in Greene County, OH.
Darlene graduated from Madison Plains High School, London, OH in 1980. She worked for Hospitality Nursing Home, was the Dietary Manager, and adored all the staff and residents. Darlene did not know a stranger, had the biggest giving heart and always had a smile on her face and a song in her heart. She enjoyed decorating for all the holidays, especially Christmas. Darlene loved her grandchildren who were her favorite pastime and her world. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Darlene is survived by her husband of 25 years, Cecil; two daughters, Amanda (Shannon) Sullivan and Kimberly (Travis) Newsome; six grandsons; a brother, Richard (Cara) Cox; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved dog, Buffy.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Darlene's name to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 31 W. Whipp Rd, Dayton, OH 45459.
