Brenda Joyce Tuttle, age 67 of Kettering, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born April 27, 1952 in Sneedville, Tennessee the daughter of the late Jesse and Grace (Gibson) Collins.
In addition to her parent, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Paul Edward Tuttle in 2016; sibling, Broten Collins, Hazel Gilbert, Doug Collins; granddaughter, Kortney Tuttle and a brother-in-law, Huston Cooper.
Brenda is survived by her sons, James E. (Kelly) Tuttle and Robert S. (Jennifer Beckett) Tuttle; grandchildren, Amber Tuttle, Katie (John Hanley) Tuttle, Konner (Jennifer Breese) Tuttle, Ryland Tuttle, Zoie Tuttle; great grandchildren, Carter, Ellie, Karoline and Kamdyn; siblings, Betty Cooper, Yvonne (James Harold) Hall, Michelle (Wayne) McDaniel, Kathy (John) Zeimetz, Ralph (Betty) Collins and Marvin (Mabel) Collins; in-laws, Dennis and Debbie Tuttle; best friend, Chris Lloyd and family neighbors, Carlos and Betty Smith. She is also survived by numerous extended family members, her co-workers at Kingston and many friends.
Brenda attended West Carrollton High School class of 1970. Brenda began a career in the long-term care industry as a member of the environmental services team for Kingston of Miamisburg in 1976. Brenda enjoyed reading, listening to country music, doll collecting and thrift shopping. She was a generous and compassionate woman who was dedicated to her family as a mother, grandmother and sister.
Family will receive guests from 10:00 am -12:00 pm and will be invited to share thought and memories during that time. Services will conclude with procession to Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin for burial. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children at 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, Florida 33607.
